​One of the biggest data technology companies in Japan was seeking to unite its various business divisions and partner companies under a single office. Makeshift helped build the concept and strategy to create an environment that fosters co-creation and sharing between the various business divisions. Primary work spaces are seamlessly divided into six “neighborhoods” for up to 100 people each, consisting of desk space, communal areas and various sized meeting rooms. A large event/multi-purpose space including a cafe enhances collaboration and enriches the corporate culture.  Makeshift worked collaboratively with the company’s employees to visualize their mission and values and integrate that into the design of the office, with each ”neighborhood” furnished with unique furniture and artwork to embody the “neighborhood’s” theme.

日本を代表するデータテクノロジーの会社が、点在していたパートナー企業やスタートアップたちが一つとなり、統合移転するための新しいオフィスづくりの提案をお手伝いしました。社員たちが、各事業部署のボーダーを越えて様々なスキルや経験をもった人たちと共創したくなるような 場所づくりのりコンセプトや、仕組み構築をプロジェクトチームの一員として参加しサポートしました。執務スペースのレイアウトを隣接し合う６つの村に整理し、各村がで集中したり、リラックスしたり、チームと集まれる機能を持ちつつ、他部署の社員とお茶をしたり、交流できる空間も充実さセルことで、データテクノロジーカンパーニーらしいワークスタイルの構築を実現しています。また、企業ミッションやバリューを社員と具現化するオフィス作りの一環としてアートプロジェクトを発足し、壁画やユニークな造作家具でそれぞれの空間を表現しています。
